My Bad...

So now I have a myspace page and a blogspot. And I don't use either of them. Here's a picture of me from last summer at the top of Quandary Peak. It was the last picture on the roll, which is why I think it has that line. Oh well. Some guy at the top just kept talking and talking. He was from Texas or something. He asked me if I wanted my picture taken, so I said sure - which I normally never do. Usually the only proof I have that I made it to the top is some ridiculous shot where I take my own picture.

Is it really February?

So here's what I've been doing lately. Working - going to church - snowboarding. Some friends and I started a wax and coffee night at church. I'm excited about that. Next week I'm going to Boise - and the two weeks after that I'm going to Gillette. Everyone's so jealous!

This has been the worst snow year ever. Tonight it's raining. That ought to put an end to the season.

Would you like to know about Jesus?

I am now officially qualified to tell you about Jesus. Not that you need to be qualified...but I am. I passed the final for my outreach class tonight and I am so glad. Now what am I going to do with all my free time? What am I going to do on Tuesdays? But most importantly, who will be the first person to see "the diagram?"

A.W. Tozer...smart guy!

The Pursuit of God, by Tozer, may be a little more intellectually challenging than what I usually enjoy reading. It makes me think really hard. Which would explain why I haven't made it very far past the Preface...in over two months. But it's good stuff. This particular line has really stuck with me: "Others before me have gone much farther into these holy mysteries than I have done, but if my fire is not large it is yet real, and there may be those who can light their candle at its flame."

I hope this is true for my life as well.

When in need....turn to LHOTP

So I caught another amazing episode of LHOTP. Here's the recap: Nelly marries a Jew and Mrs. Olsen and the new husband's father fight it out about whether their baby will be Jewish, or Christian. I am only now realizing all the valuable lessons I apparently learned from all those years of Little House watching.

Did anyone ever notice that the acting on that show is horrible? That is another thing that I only realized yesterday.

Ski season starts tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But I'm working.

This week I'm working in Morgan, Utah. It is so beautiful there. It is almost unbelievable how beautiful it is. It almost makes me consider living there, but in Morgan they don't believe in coffee and no place is that beautiful.

Right now I'm obsessed with the DC Talk song "Consume Me." That has to be one of the best songs ever, and the vocals are amazing. I don't care what anyone says, DC Talk is cool.

Last week was hard...

So last week was rough. Work by itself would have been bad enough. But then everything got piled on top of it so that I absolutely couldn't focus. This week wasn't much better, but at least it was just crazy work stuff. I just got home from Wyoming and I am looking forward to sleeping in tomorrow....I have the best job ever - so many days off! It would be even cooler if I didn't actually have to work anyway tomorrow. Where's the snow? I need something fun to do this weekend.
